This place has the tastiest pho I've ever had here in Austin.
The beef for the pho tai (pre-cooked) was a gorgeous red, and stayed that way until I actually dropped it in the broth. This was a delivery order, and oftentimes the heat from the other food items cooks the meat slightly while it's still in the bag: making the meat turn a greyish hue, and slightly chewy. Even after an hour or so (when I finally reheated the broth and put the soup together) the beef from Pho Hoang maintained that wonderful color. This is quality beef, very flavorful and tender.
But the noodles were what really blew me away: so, so tender. Every other pho place I've eaten from in Austin has the chewy, ball-of-rubber-bands look and feel: not these. I couldn't believe how much more pleasant these were to eat. My husband put his soup together, but fell asleep before he ate it. I snuck a few bites of it the next morning, and the noodles were still tender, but not soggy.
We had the fried dumplings as an appetizer, they were crisp, flavorful and not soggy, either.
My husband and I eat low carb, but we are absolutely having another "cheat" meal tomorrow night, so that we can have this again. Truly impressive. -

This place is the best! I visited this establishment the day before Thanksgiving. When my party arrived, we were greeted promptly. We ordered one small chicken Pho and two large Pho (one chicken and one shrimp). The Pho was delivered in under 15 minutes and was both hot and flavorful. The food served here is authentic. Upon leaving, the owner approached the table with take-out bags and cups for the Pho; what great service.

I'm a sucker for Asian carbs and pho on a cold, rainy day like today is def one of my vices. This place is one of my go-to pho places in town. It's right by 35 so the location is pretty convenient. No frills and generally quick. The meats are slightly tough but the tripe and broth are good. The one strange thing about this place is the portion isn't always consistent. Today's portion was noticeable less than last time I was here. This happened more than once.

Nice casual pho place. Broth was a little better than average and nice inclusions. They had no problem doing a half and half meatball and eye round pho. Seemed nice and busy during lunch with a mixed crowd. Will come back again.

My wife had a small bowl of beef and noodles, tasty, I tried a dish with vermicelli and pork and pieces of fried egg roll, it had salad on the bottom layer, then the noodles, then the pieces of pork and egg roll with crushed peanuts and bean sprouts, poured a small bowl of fish sauce over it with some pepper sauce and stirred and let the party in my mouth get started. I enjoyed an iced coffee with condensed milk.
